ELLIOTT  RESIDENCE

The first remodel of this Middletown area home involved the addition of two bedrooms and a bath along a hall connecting the original house to the garage.  Dormers at the front and back were used to break up the long roofline created from the addition  and to open up the bedrooms and an existing den spatially. The second remodel of the house involves adding a second story master bedroom suite with terrace to take advantage of the views to downtown. This addition continues the existing roof slope up to create space for the new room and adds a dormer at the new master bath. Large windows, in the style of the original steel mullion windows, provide the desired view to downtown from the new master bedroom.  A large roof terrace is accessible from both the master bedroom and the stair hall.
